New TV series

The “New on Peacock” list for November includes four new original TV series:

The Calling

Jeff Wilbusch as Detective Avraham in The Calling - one of the new titles included in the New on Peacock list for November
Jeff Wilbusch as Detective Avraham in The Calling

The Calling tells the story of NYPD Detective Avraham Avraham, whose belief in mankind is his superpower when it comes to uncovering the truth. Guided by a deep sense of spirituality and religious principles, Avraham is left to question his own humanity when a seemingly routine investigation turns upside down.

Based on a series of books written by Dror Mishani, The Calling stars Jeff Wilbusch as Detective Avraham, along with Juliana Canfield, Karen Robinson, Michael Mosley, and many others. The investigative drama hails from David E. Kelley, directed and executive produced by Barry Levinson, and co-composed by Hans Zimmer and Steve Mazzaro.

All eight episodes of the show’s first season will drop on Peacock on November 10th.

Leopard Skin

Starring Carla Gugino, Amelia Eve, Gentry White, Philip Winchester, and Margot Bingham, Leopard Skin starts with a criminal gang fleeing a botched jewelry heist. Forced to hide out in a beachside estate, the gang takes two women and their guests as hostages. Soon after, a series of murderous secrets, coldhearted betrayals, and shocking desires bubble to the surface as everyone awaits their fate.

The eight-episode season 1 of the crime thriller will be available to watch on Peacock starting November 17th.

Pitch Perfect: Bumper in Berlin

Bumper in Berlin | Official Teaser | Peacock Original

Pitch Perfect: Bumper in Berlin is a TV series spinoff of the hit musical film series Pitch Perfect. Starring Adam Devine as the titular character, the spinoff picks up several years after Bumper Allen’s last appearance in the Pitch Perfect movies. In the musical comedy, Bumper moves to Germany to revive his music career when one of his songs becomes big in Berlin.

Executive produced by Elizabeth Banks, Pitch Perfect: Bumper in Berlin also stars Flula Borg, Sarah Hyland, Lera Abova, and Jameela Jamil.

“It was really important to us that Bumper in Berlin be recognizable to the fans, for its irreverent comedy and phenomenal music, but also entirely distinct from what you’ve seen before,” Banks said of the new show. “We wanted to honor The Barden Bellas and the Pitch Perfect world while expanding into a fresh and brilliantly weird character journey. This story is about second chances, friendship, and the idea that your dreams can come true in unexpected ways – anywhere in the world, at any point in your life.”

Available in 4K HD, all six episodes of the series will arrive on Peacock on November 23rd.

Irreverent

A co-production between Peacock and Netflix Australia from NBCUniversal International Studios’ Matchbox Pictures, Irreverent is a fish-out-of-water drama that follows criminal mediator Paulo Keegan (Colin Donnell) as he flees the United States after a mediation gone wrong and assumes the identity of Reverend Mackenzie “Mack” Boyd. “Mack” finds himself trapped in Clump, Australia – a small, eccentric beach town hundreds of miles away from civilization and phone reception. In order to stay alive, “Mack” must keep the wool over the town’s eyes and play the role of devoted Reverend, while desperately searching for an exit strategy before his past catches up to him.

Created by Paddy Macrae, the crime drama also stars PJ Byrne, Kylie Bracknell, Briallen Clarke, Tegan Stimson, Ed Oxenbould, Wayne Blair, Russell Dykstra, Calen Tassone, and Jason Wilder.

All 10 episodes of the show’s freshman run will drop on Peacock on November 30th.

Returning TV series

Peacock has only one returning TV series for the month of November:

The Capture season 2

The Capture | New Season | Official Trailer | Peacock Original

The British mystery thriller The Capture returns for its second season next month, with all its six episodes available to stream starting November 3rd.

Season 2 will again question if we can really believe what we see. Britain is under siege: hacked news feeds, manipulated media, and interference in politics. Entrenched in the UK’s own ‘Correction’ unit, DCI Rachel Carey (Holliday Grainger) finds herself in the middle of a new conspiracy – with a new target. But how can she solve this case when she can’t even trust her closest colleagues? Escalating from the CCTV thriller of season 1, the six-part season 2 features ‘invisible’ assassins, the terrifying rise of deepfake technology, the ever-growing tension between government and Big Tech, and corruption at the heart of the British media.

Movies

The “New on Peacock” list for November includes two new movies:

Caillou: The Silver Knight

A Peacock original, Caillou: The Silver Knight is a movie adaptation of the children’s book of the same name by Robin Bright. In the book, Caillou is disappointed when none of his friends can come over to play. To cheer him up, Daddy tells him the story of a great knight who protects his kingdom from a terrible dragon ―with a little help from his family. Caillou learns that families are sometimes the best friends and allies a person can have.

The movie premieres on Peacock on November 13th.

Nope

NOPE | Official Trailer

Directed, written, and produced by Jordan Peele, Nope is a neo-Western sci-fi horror film starring Daniel Kaluuya and Keke Palmer as horse-wrangling siblings attempting to capture evidence of an unidentified flying object.

The movie opened in theaters last July and is now set to make its Peacock debut on November 18th in 4K UHD.

Sports and Live Events

The Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade, The National Dog Show, and the Thanksgiving Night NFL Game will all be streaming live on Peacock in November. The NBCUniversal-owned platform will also stream every match of the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 in Spanish.
