UNIQLO unveils UT collection honoring Andy Warhol, Jean-Michel Basquiat, and Keith Haring

The all-star lifestyle collection includes t-shirts, caps, bags, umbrellas, sneakers, and home goods

UNIQLO is launching a UT collection featuring the iconic artwork of beloved pop artists Andy Warhol, Jean-Michel Basquiat, and Keith Haring.

The extensive UNIQLO UT x Warhol x Basquiat x Haring Collection includes a wide variety of t-shirts and accessories in a full range of adult sizes ranging from $7.90 to $39.90. The t-shirts and accessories like baseball caps, pocketable tote bags, and umbrellas will be available on UNIQLO.com and at select UNIQLO stores in the U.S. starting July 26th. The collection’s slip-on sneakers and home goods, meanwhile, will go on sale beginning August 9th. The entire lineup will also be available globally but launch dates will vary by region.

The lifestyle collection utilizes some of the most famous artwork of the three aforementioned legendary American artists, including designs featuring Warhol’s signature Campbell’s Soup and Brillo works, Basquiat’s crown motif, and Haring’s famous “LOVE” graphic printed on the items in the all-star collaboration.

“We are honored to once again celebrate the iconic works of Andy Warhol, Jean-Michel Basquiat and Keith Haring, this time with an expanded lineup of goods,” said Nicholas Grover, Vice President of UNIQLO Global Licensing, Merchandising, and Design in a press release. “With this collection, we hope to inspire customers to incorporate the world of art into their lives more closely.”

In a statement, Jeanine Basquiat of the Basquiat Estate said that UNIQLO and Basquiat have a “truly classic partnership,” adding that “UNIQLO always comes up with ways to use [Basquiat’s] artwork in their designs that are fresh and new every time.”

Meanwhile, Gil Vazquez, Acting Director of the Keith Haring Studio, said that “Keith Haring has always been about democratizing art” and that’s one of the things that makes their partnership with UNIQLO such a “great fit.” Vazquez added that UNIQLO “has really done a great job in using art and commerce to communicate to a broad, diverse audience, which is a core value in Haring’s artistic practice.”
