LEGO is releasing a brick-form version of The Rolling Stones logo in celebration of the band’s 60th anniversary this year.

Featuring bright red lips and tongue, The Rolling Stones logo was created by graphic designer John Pasche and was first seen on the band’s Sticky Fingers album released back in 1971.
LEGO Art The Rolling Stones set
The LEGO Art The Rolling Stones set is a 1,998-piece tribute to the group’s 60 years as one of the most legendary rock bands of all time. Measuring over 22 inches high and 18.5 inches wide, the premium art piece is the first organically shaped set from LEGO Art.
The Rolling Stones logo set includes 9 brick baseplates, a brick-built frame, and 2 hanger elements to display the 3D piece on any wall. To enhance the building experience, the set also comes with an accompanying soundtrack with almost an hour of tailor-made content, including an exclusive interview Pasche.
“Who would have believed, 50 odd years ago… that design would be made into a LEGO piece. Wow!” said Pasche, after seeing the LEGO Art set for the first time.
Fiorella Groves, Design Manager at the LEGO Group, added: “Since the tongue logo is one of the most recognized logos, our biggest challenge was to figure out how we could get the LEGO Art design as close to the original as possible. Previous sets have been created with 1×1 round LEGO tiles as a mosaic, but this time, in the spirit of being more Rock ‘n’ Roll, we have used the full spectrum of LEGO bricks to capture the organic curves that John created. Hearing his reaction to our final design makes me so happy!”
LEGO Art The Rolling Stones set release date
Priced at $149.99, the LEGO Art The Rolling Stones set will be available from June 1st from LEGO.com and all LEGO retailers.
