As part of a nostalgic menu test, the fast-food chain is reviving classic treats that haven’t been available for decades, giving customers a taste of the past. This limited-time offering is sure to delight longtime fans and introduce a new generation to the flavors that helped shape Taco Bell’s iconic menu. The limited-time blast-from-the-past menu includes:
‘60s – Tostada: A cornerstone of Taco Bell’s original offerings since its 1962 debut, this classic dish includes a crispy corn tostada shell topped with savory refried beans, tangy red sauce, crisp lettuce, and shredded cheese, priced at $2.19.
‘70s – Green Burrito: Popularized in the 1970s, this delectable burrito is packed with refried beans, crunchy onions, shredded cheddar cheese, and a vibrant green sauce made from green chili, tomatillos, jalapeño peppers, and spices, available for $2.49.
‘80s – Meximelt: A beloved ‘80s favorite, the Meximelt features a blend of mozzarella, cheddar, and Monterey Jack cheeses melted with seasoned beef and freshly prepared pico de gallo, all wrapped in a warm tortilla, for $2.99.
‘90s – Beef Gordita Supreme: A nostalgic treat from the ‘90s, the Beef Gordita Supreme combines warm, pillowy flatbread with seasoned beef, reduced-fat sour cream, crisp lettuce, a three-cheese blend (mozzarella, cheddar, and Monterey Jack), and diced tomatoes, priced at $2.99.
‘00s – Caramel Apple Empanada: From the 2000s, this golden-brown empanada features a crispy exterior and a creamy, caramel-infused apple filling, available for $2.99.

Where to try the Taco Bell Nostalgic Menu
The Taco Bell Nostalgic Menu will be available at the Barranca location (2222 Barranca Pkwy, Irvine, CA 92606) and the Brea restaurant (303 W Imperial Hwy, Brea, CA 92821) from August 15th to August 21st. Taco Bell’s Fullerton location (31 E Orangethorpe Ave, Fullerton, CA 92832) will also offer the menu from August 15th to August 19th. Since it’s a test, the menu’s availability is limited and will only offered while supplies last.
Depending on the success of the test, Taco Bell will probably make a nationwide rollout of these menu items later this year. More details about that potential bigger release are expected to be revealed after the test is complete.
