American lifestyle brand Supreme and British shoe brand Clarks Originals have partnered once again for a new custom version of the Wallabee.
Called the Supreme x Clarks Originals Woven Wallabee, the latest footwear collab between the two brands features a premium traditional suede upper with a striking woven pattern that extends to the toe and sidewall. The shoe is outfitted with a leather lining and made with a natural crepe sole, which offers great comfort and versatility.
Branding elements come in the form of debossing at the heel, printed insoles, and hangtags with the logos of Supreme. The Supreme x Clarks Originals Woven Wallabee will be available in four colorways ― salmon pink, black, green, and beige.
The collab will be released via Supreme’s website on September 9th at 11 a.m. ET in the U.S. and on September 11th at 11 a.m. JST in Japan. The price for the shoe has yet to be announced.
As fans of both brands know, Supreme and Clarks Originals have been partners for almost a decade now. Supreme and Clarks Originals worked together on a Wallabee four-pack nine years ago. More recently, in 2019, they co-created a bandana print-covered Wallabee collection.
Supreme and Clarks Originals have always managed to strike the right chord with their collaborations, but their most understated co-creation was a collection of four Wallabees dressed in an all-over GORE-TEX coating. Released as part of Supreme’s Fall/Winter 2019 collection, those Wallabees came in regal purple, traditional tan, classic camouflage, and bold black colorways and had their crepe soles switched up for a more lightweight and durable Vibram iteration.
