Digital collectible platform VeVe has teamed up with Star Trek for a collection of non-fungible tokens (NFTs) based on the iconic starships and items from the beloved sci-fi franchise.

The first series of Star Trek NFTs from VeVe will be available for purchase worldwide on its mobile app starting tomorrow, September 8th, at 11 a.m. ET. Called the Star Trek: The Generation – Series 1, the inaugural NFT collection features the show’s U.S.S. Enterprise-D and the infamous Borg Cube.

Under the command of Captain Jean-Luc Picard, the U.S.S. Enterprise-D is the main setting of Star Trek: The Next Generation (1987–1994) and the film Star Trek Generations (1994). Also referred to as the USS Enterprise (NCC-1701-D), the space vehicle was a 24th century Federation Galaxy-class starship operated by Starfleet and the fifth Federation starship to bear the name Enterprise. This digital collectible will be available in both 1:1 scale and 1:1000 scale as an Uncommon and Ultra Rare version for $40 and $110 respectively.

Borg Cube

Described as mighty and omnipotent, the Borg Cube was constructed from tritanium by the Borg Collective to be one of the most destructive weapons ever known. Common capabilities of the Borg Cube include high-speed warp and transwarp drives, self-regeneration and multiple-redundant systems, combat adaptability, and various energy weapons, including tractor beams and cutting beams. This digital collectible will be available in both 1:1 scale and 1:1000 scale as a Common and Rare version for $60 and $130 respectively.

After purchasing these Star Trek NFTs from VeVe, fans can showcase them along with their other digital collections in the app’s virtual showrooms as epic 3D dioramas. They can also virtually visit, comment on, and like showrooms from other collectors. With VeVe’s augmented reality photo mode, fans can also interact with every digital collectible in 3D, as well as share their collectibles through VeVe’s in-app social feed or on external social platforms.
