Columbia Pictures is celebrating its 100th anniversary this year, and as part of the festivities surrounding this milestone, Sony is bringing back all eight live-action Spider-Man movies to theaters through a special screening series called Spider-Mondays.
What is Spider-Mondays?
As mentioned above, Spider-Mondays is a special event celebrating Columbia Pictures’ 100th anniversary. Spider-Mondays will bring all eight live-action Spider-Man movies back to select theaters in the United States for a limited run. Each movie will be shown on a different Monday, starting on April 15, 2024, and running through June 3, 2024. This special screening is a chance for fans to revisit these popular movies on the big screen and relive the web-slinging adventures of Spider-Man, be it the iteration of Tobey Maguire, Andrew Garfield, and Tom Holland.

For the Spider-Mondays special event, all eight live-action Spider-Man movies will return to theaters in release order. See the release schedule below, alongside a brief description of each film.
Spider-Man (2002): Monday, April 15
A shy, nerdy teenager named Peter Parker gains incredible spider-like abilities after being bitten by a genetically altered spider. He uses these powers to fight crime and injustice as the masked superhero Spider-Man. However, his newfound responsibility clashes with his personal life, including his love interest Mary Jane Watson, and his relationship with his Aunt May and Uncle Ben. When a vengeful businessman becomes the villainous Green Goblin, Spider-Man faces his greatest challenge yet.
Spider-Man 2 (2004): Monday, April 22
In Spider-Man 2, Peter Parker’s life as a college student and crime fighter as Spider-Man become increasingly difficult to manage. Struggling with financial woes, fractured relationships, and self-doubt, Peter contemplates giving up his heroic alter ego. But when brilliant scientist Otto Octavius transforms into the villainous Doc Ock, threatening New York City with his dangerous mechanical arms, Spider-Man must overcome his personal struggles and summon his remaining power to stop Doc Ock and save the day.
Spider-Man 3 (2007): Monday, April 29
Peter Parker has it all – balancing his life as a college student, his relationship with Mary Jane, and the admiration of New York City as Spider-Man. However, his world turns upside down when a strange black entity from space bonds with him. This alien symbiote enhances his powers but amplifies his arrogance and aggression. Meanwhile, Harry Osborn, still consumed by revenge for his father’s death and aware of Peter’s secret identity, transforms into the new Green Goblin. As Peter battles inner demons and new villains like Sandman, he must overcome the corrupting influence of the symbiote and mend his fractured relationships to protect the city he loves.
The Amazing Spider-Man (2012): Monday, May 6
A teenage outcast, Peter Parker, grapples with unanswered questions about his parents who abandoned him when he was young. Following a clue, he uncovers a secret that leads him to Oscorp, a powerful corporation filled with technological advancements.
Bitten by a genetically altered spider at Oscorp, Peter transforms. He develops incredible spider-like abilities, enhanced strength, agility, and the power to cling to any surface. With newfound powers, Peter becomes Spider-Man.
Driven by a responsibility to protect his Aunt May and Uncle Ben, Peter takes to the streets to fight crime. However, when a scientist he admires, Dr. Curt Connors, transforms into the reptilian villain, the Lizard, Spider-Man faces his greatest challenge.
As Spider-Man and the Lizard clash, Peter must choose his destiny – to protect his secret or stand up as a hero and fight for the ones he loves
The Amazing Spider-Man 2 (2014): Monday, May 13
Peter Parker struggles to maintain balance in his life. As Spider-Man, he’s swinging through the city protecting New York, but his personal life with Gwen Stacy suffers. The emergence of a powerful new villain, Electro (Jamie Foxx), forces Peter to confront a foe unlike any he’s faced.
Meanwhile, Harry Osborn, Peter’s childhood friend, returns, adding another layer of complexity to Peter’s world. As Harry learns a shocking secret about his father’s past and OsCorp’s role in it, he spirals down a dark path.
Peter uncovers a hidden truth about his own parents that connects them to OsCorp. With Electro and a vengeful Harry Osborn threatening New York, Spider-Man faces his greatest challenges yet. He must draw on all his strength and courage to protect the city and the ones he loves
Spider-Man: Homecoming (2017): Monday, May 20
Thrilled by his experience with the Avengers in Captain America: Civil War, Peter Parker returns home eager to prove himself to his mentor Tony Stark. But when a new villain emerges – the Vulture – everything that Peter holds most dear will be threatened.
Spider-Man: Far From Home (2019): Monday, May 27
Following the events of Avengers: Endgame, Peter Parker just wants to take a break with his friends on a European vacation. However, Peter’s plans are quickly scrapped when Nick Fury recruits him to deal with elemental creature attacks causing chaos across the continent. To make matters worse, Mysterio appears as a new hero from another dimension, and Peter must decide if he can trust him to help.
Spider-Man: No Way Home (2021): Monday, June 3
With Spider-Man’s identity now revealed, Peter Parker asks Doctor Strange for help. When a spell goes wrong, dangerous foes from other worlds start to appear, forcing Peter to discover what it truly means to be Spider-Man.
