The newest realme Book laptop has officially been announced. At Mobile World Congress 2022, the relatively young brand has announced the realme Book Prime — an upgraded version of its first laptop.
While not much has changed, the realme Book Prime does carry a more powerful 11th Gen Intel Core i5 processor. By increasing CPU wattage, the realme Book Prime now also offers a 50% increase in power dissipation. A vapor chamber liquid cooling system has also been installed to help with temperature control alongside two ultra-thin, high-speed, high-airflow fans.
Basically, it’s a strong Intel laptop with a cooling system that keeps pace with those of much more powerful laptops we’ve seen at MWC 2022. That should hopefully make the realme Book Prime one of the better options for battery life, but it’s hard to know for sure until we give it a try ourselves!
We also got our first look at the realme Buds Air 3. They have the same kind of stem design as Apple’s AirPods, and feature sound processing that helps to cancel out background noise from wind. The Buds Air 3 have 10 mm drivers, a pretty solid size for wireless earbuds, and meet the standards for AAC high-quality audio.
Battery life and charging have been big themes at MWC 2022, and that even extends to these buds. realme says you can expect 30 hours of playback, with a full charge in one hour and 100 minutes of listening in ten minutes of charging.
The realme Book Prime with the 2k display will start at €999 (approx. $1,117), while the realme Buds Air 3 is expected to retail for €59.99 (approx. $67).
