Razor’s latest adult electric scooters all cost under $500 6

Razor is expanding its line of adult electric scooters with three new models that all cost under $500.

Designed by a team that includes several former BMX and skating competitors, Razor EcoSmart SUP, E300 HD, and C25 scooters are accessible for riders of any skill level ― whether they are trying to make it to work on time, going for a quick trip to the grocery store, or just taking a spin around the park.

Unlike most electric scooters in the market, these three new scooter offerings from Razor come with rear-wheel drive. Rear-wheel drive shifts the weight to the rear of the scooter, enhancing both drive traction and ease of steering. This feature helps prevent tip overs and enables riders to position themselves more naturally on the scooter so that they can navigate uneven roads and turns more effectively.

Details of the new scooter models, which will be available over the next couple of months, are as follows:

EcoSmart SUP

Featuring 16-inch pneumatic front and rear tube tires and a wide bamboo deck for better stability, the EcoSmart SUP (Stand-Up) is the perfect intro scooter for adults who have never ridden an electric scooter before. Though it offers a smooth and comfortable ride, the scooter is actually fast. Equipped with a 350W motor, it can travel with a top speed of 15.5 miles per hour. Boasting a 12 miles per battery charge, the EcoSmart SUP is great for a spin around town or jaunt to the beach. Priced at $449, the scooter will be available for purchase in black and white colors later this month.
