Pixar Fest is officially back for a month-long celebration of all things Pixar this September.
As part of this year’s Pixar Fest celebration, fans can rewatch iconic Pixar movies and discover all-new Pixar content via a virtual film festival on Disney+, which kicked off last Wednesday. Pixar movies are better when streamed together, so fans are encouraged to join the conversation on social media using #PixarFest. See the full film festival schedule below:
Fans are also invited to join top content creators like The Williams Family, Phil Wright, Merrick Hanna, and McKenzi Brooke in the first-ever Pixar-inspired challenge across TikTok and Instagram Reels recreating favorite character poses themed to Pixar’s iconic films.
Glee and Shadowhunters alum Harry Shum Jr., who is a huge Pixar fan, has joined the celebration saying: “I’m jazzed (dad joke) to help launch the second annual Pixar Fest and unveil an all-new dance and pose challenge as part of this year’s celebration. As someone who started their career as a dancer, my wife, Shelby, and I are stoked to help fans show their love of these iconic films through this fun challenge that pretty much anyone can do. I credit my lanky dancing to Woody from my favorite Pixar film, Toy Story, so I’ll be channeling him to hopefully bring some joy to families.”
A collection of Pixar merch has also been released to mark this year’s Pixar Fest. The wide-ranging product lineup includes Toy Story kitchen appliance, Monsters, Inc. pillow, Luca kitchen set, The Incredibles makeup set, WALL-E necklaces, Up bags, Coco footwear, Cars bedding set, and many others Check out some of the featured officially licensed merchandise for this year’s Pixar Fest below:
