For the first time in its 109-year history, Oreo has finally opened its very own café.
Simply called the Oreo Café, the part quick-service joint, part merch shop is described as “a new, immersive and personalized way for all fans and cookie lovers to experience Oreo in person!”
Officially opened last August 3rd, the 3,500-square foot space is located on the third floor of the It’Sugar store in the American Dream complex at the Meadowlands Sports Complex in East Rutherford, New Jersey.
Oreo called the quick-service joint of the café “a first-of-its-kind treats bar, where visitors can customize sweets or pick from a delicious menu of decadent Oreo inspired desserts.”

The café’s menu is broken down into three categories: Oreo Desserts, Drinks, and the so-called “Twist Your Oreo”. Treats in the Oreo Desserts section include a waffle sundae with pieces of Oreos baked in; an Oreo Cookies & Cream cheesecake that features milk chocolate rosettes; and an Oreo cookie brownie mousse with drizzles of chocolate ganache.
Available drinks include an Oreo-accentuated smoothie and cold brew as well as basics like coffee and tea. The “Twist Your Oreo” option, meanwhile, allows customers to choose their preferred base —waffle, ice cream sandwich, cone or milkshake — top that with ice cream, and smother it with a selection of 17 Oreo-themed toppings like Oreo tidbits, gummy bears, praline pecans, sprinkles, and more.
The custom treat is then covered with chocolate syrup, whipped cream, chocolate sauce, or caramel sauce depending on the customers’ choice. With multiple options to choose from, there’s said to be over 200 combinations to be had.
The Oreo Café is also serving a not-so-secret secret menu item called the Oreo Donut S’Morewich, which features scoops of Oreo ice cream, sandwiched between chocolate waffle cone pieces, and then topped with a giant marshmallow, glazed doughnut, fudge, sprinkles, and Oreo cookies.

As previously mentioned, the Oreo Café is part merch shop where customers can purchase all sorts of Oreo cookie varieties as well as Oreo-branded merchandise, including apparel, tote bags, and home décor. Fans who can’t make it to East Rutherford can buy the Oreo products and merch at itsugar.com and oreo.com.
