Nokia phone manufacturer HMD Global has just announced that they’re bringing back an updated and improved version of its popular Nokia 2720. Now called the Nokia 2720 V Flip, it’s equipped with modern conveniences and will be available starting May 20th at Verizon.

Answering a call on the Nokia 2720 is as easing as flipping the phone open. Once done, just flip it closed and you’re good to go. It’s also equipped with a 1.3-inch external screen so users can check who’s calling before answering.

The main screen is a 2.8-inch display with options for large text format for better readability. The phone comes with a tactile keypad with big buttons for easy navigation as well. The Nokia 2720 Flip can last up to 26 days on standby so users can always have a device ready to use. Nokia, of course, promises durability and reliability the brand has come to be known for.

The Nokia 2720 V Flip can also now access Google Assistant which can be used to call, message, or search the internet through voice commands. A dedicated button makes it easy to wake the assistant at any time. It’s also now capable of accommodating 4G LTE which you can use to download more apps from the KaiStore.

Lastly, the Nokia 2720 V Flip is equipped with a security feature that allows the user to contact five pre-selected contacts at the push of a button. The contacts will receive the user’s location and will then call the numbers until someone answers.

Starting May 20th, interested customers can head over to Verizon to purchase the Nokia 2720 V Flip for $79.99.
