At the New York Toy Fair last February, Hasbro unveiled the first six blasters from its Nerf Fortnite 2020 collection, including the Rippley editions of Nerf Fortnite SP, AR, and RL. Inspired by the Rippley wrap in the popular video game, this trio of blasters was originally set to be released sometime this fall. But in an effort to make fans entertained during the quarantine period, Hasbro has now made them available for purchase on Best Buy.
#1 Nerf Fortnite SP-Rippley, $19.99
A repaint of the Nerf Fortnite SP-L blaster from last year, this toy gun features a three-dart internal clip that allows users to load three darts in a row. It comes with a barrel for distance targeting, which can be detached when playing in small areas. While the barrel looks like a silencer, it doesn’t actually work as one, as Nerf blasters don’t really make so much noise when shot.
#2 Nerf Fortnite RL-Rippley, $29.99
This toy bazooka, which is a repaint of the Nerf Fortnite RL blaster, fires one rocket at a time. Packed with two missiles, this blaster is an amazing replica of its in-game counterpart.
#3 Nerf Fortnite AR-Rippley, $49.99
Like the first two toy guns, this blaster is also a repaint of a previously released Nerf Fortnite blaster. The Rippley edition of Nerf Fortnite AR, this battery-powered blaster features motorized dart blasting and comes with 20 darts and a 10-dart clip. When the blaster’s motor is ramped up, it produces a pretty cool sound.
Completing the current Nerf Fortnite 2020 lineup are the GL Rocket Firing blaster ($59.99), BASR-L Bolt Action Clip-Fed blaster ($39.99), and the SR blaster ($19.99). The BASR-L Bolt Action Clip-Fed blaster will be available at most major toy retailers starting June 1st. The GL Rocket Firing blaster will hit the shelves on August 1st, while the SR blaster will arrive at retail stores sometime this fall. Check out their photos below:
