The Mikey Likes It x Windows 11 ice cream is now available for purchase for a limited time.
Called Bloomberry ice cream, the frozen dessert was made by Mikey Likes It ice cream shop to celebrate the launch of Windows 11 in New York City last October 5th. On that day, the operating system-inspired ice cream was given away for free at Mikey Likes It locations in the East Village and Harlem.
If you’re one of those who didn’t get to taste the ice cream last month, then we’re happy to share that the creamy treat is now available to purchase across the country via Goldbelly, while supplies last. Four pints of the Bloomberry ice cream costs $79, which already includes shipping and dry ice packaging.
According to Mikey Likes It, the Bloomberry ice cream is a rich, blueberry-infused ice cream, ribboned with the best part of blueberry pie, blended with pound cake bites, and topped with candy-coated chocolate pieces. It embodies the fluid design of Windows 11 and the OS’ iconic bloom through its blueberry compote swirls and blue chocolate candies. The product’s description on the Goldbelly website notes that the Bloomberry ice cream is naturally colored using butterfly blue pea protein.
Mikey Likes It has become a beloved homegrown ice cream shop since it was opened by New York native Mikey Cole back in 2013. Cole’s ice cream recipe was inspired by his late aunt, and all his ice creams are made in small batches, using only all-natural ingredients.
In addition to the Windows 11-inspired flavor, Mikey Likes It has also created custom flavors for Jay-Z and Hilary Clinton, just to name a few.
