Margot Robbie and Cara Delevingne, who both starred in 2016’s Suicide Squad, were involved in an altercation with a paparazzi in Buenos Aires, Argentina.

Sources with direct knowledge of the incident told TMZ that Robbie and Delevingne dined together with some of their friends in Patagonia Sur in the La Boca neighborhood early Sunday morning. Everything was going well until a paparazzi meddled in their affairs as they were leaving the restaurant.

The paparazzi reportedly rushed to Robbie and Delevingne as the duo were getting into their Uber. the photographer started taking photos of the actresses aggressively, intruding in their personal space in the process. According to TMZ’s sources, the encounter freaked out the Uber driver, who abruptly took off with Delevingne fully in the car and Robbie halfway in and halfway out.

To avoid serious injury, Robbie reportedly had to jump out of the moving car. But even after the actress found herself on the ground, the paparazzi continued taking photos of her, causing two of her male friends to jump in and help.

Sources told TMZ that the paparazzi ran off and fell on his own, but the catch is that the photog went to the police claiming that he was brutally beaten up by Robbie and Delevingne’s two male friends.

Citing a police report, online Argentine newspaper Infobae reported that the paparazzi, named Pedro Alberto Orquera, was left with a broken arm and a bloody scalp after the alleged beatdown.

The news outlet added that the photog wanted to press charges and that Robbie and Delevingne’s male friends, Jac Rhis Hopkins and Josei Mac Namara Callum, have been detailed. Though the paparazzi perceived the two men who allegedly beat him down as bodyguards, TMZ’s sources confirmed that they are not bodyguards but are filmmaker pals of the actresses. One of them is a key grip, while the other is a film producer.

It’s not clear yet whether the male friends have been arrested or booked on any particular charges. While details are scarce, Infobae reported that authorities are interested in prosecuting, pending an investigation.
