Lenovo has new education products to announce, in the form of the Lenovo 10w tablet and Lenovo 13w Yoga.
Designed with kids in mind, the Lenovo 10w tablet is crafted with a rubber bumper for added protection and ruggedness. Corning Gorilla Glass helps to keep the FHD display intact and it’s also compatible with a detachable keyboard which turns it into a mini 10.1-inch laptop.
Parents can also opt to get a pen that neatly integrates with the tablet. The Lenovo 10w is also equipped with front and rear-facing cameras and is powered by a Snapdragon 7c processor running Windows 11.
For heavier workloads, the Lenovo 13w Yoga provides a flexible solution. This 13.3-inch convertible laptop comes with an AMD Ryzen 5000 U-series processor and can support up to an AMD Ryzen 7. Storage is offered at 512GB with up to 16GB for RAM.
Still offering durability, the 13w Yoga offers Corning Gorilla glass protection and it comes with a spill-resistant keyboard.
The ergonomic lift hinge helps to make typing comfortable even during extended work hours. There’s also an optional fingerprint reader for security and also offers pen support.
The Lenovo 10w tablet and 13w Yoga are slated to be available by April 2022 and are priced at $349 (comes with a keyboard) and $749 respectively.
Additionally, Lenovo has announced its new content filtering and safety solution — Lenovo NetFilter. To protect learners, Lenovo offers this 2-in-1 cloud-based digital safety program that uses AI-driven web filtering and threat protection. Admins or educators will be able to customize access and filter using different parameters such as file types, applications, or websites. The program is compatible with Mac, Windows, and Chromebooks and can be accessed remotely or through the same network.
