Lenovo has unveiled its new generation of ThinkPad P17, P15, and P1 laptops. The company’s latest lineup boasts of being powered by the latest 11th Gen Intel Core processors as well as support for up to NVIDIA RTX A5000 graphics.

Now on its fourth iteration, the ThinkPad P1 has been redesigned to be an even more powerful device. Now equipped with either 11th Gen Intel Core or Xeon processors and NVIDIA RTX A5000 graphics, the ThinkPad P1 aims to fulfill the needs of power users and content creators.

The ThinkPad P1 also maintains a lightweight appearance while offering premium features such as support for 5G, a newly engineered keyboard, larger touchpad, and more.

It supports up to 64GB DD3 RAM and up to 4TB NVMe PCIe Gen 4 SSD dual storage. For ports, it’s equipped with two USB-A ports, two USB-C ports, one HDMI port, a 3.5mm jack, and a nano-SIM card slot.

The display is a 16-inch IPS panel with an optional touch variant and with an aspect ratio of 16:10.There’s also a 1080p FHD Hybrid IR camera with privacy shutter, fingerprint reader integrated into the power button, Bluetooth 5.2, Intel Wi-Fi 6E.

Additional features include Modern Standby, Wake on Voice, Ultra Performance Mode, and Self-healing BIOS.

And despite its 16-inch display,  this generation’s ThinkPad P1 maintains the traditional 15-inch footprint.

On its second generation are the ThinkPad P15 and the ThinkPad 17. Also equipped with 11th Gen Intel Core or Xeon processors and up to NVIDIA RTX A5000 graphics, these new laptops are designed to provide power and performance to more demanding users.

The ThinkPad P15 is the smaller of the two housing up to a 15.6-inch UHD display with option OLED touch variant. The P17, on the other hand, houses a 17.3-inch UHD IPS color-calibrated display with an FHD variant — the largest Lenovo offers as a mobile solution.

Internally, both house similar specs. The P15 and P17 are supported by up to 128GB DDR4 RAM and up to 6TB M.2 NVMe PCIe Gen 4 SSD with three drives available.

For ports, both devices come with a complete suite including two USB-A Always-on ports, two USB-C Thunderbolt 4 ports, a USB-C port, an HDMI port, a 3.5mm jack, a smart card reader, a nano-SIM card slot, and an Ethernet port.

For battery, both have a 94Wh capacity. Additional features include a touch fingerprint reader as well, a webcam with a privacy shutter, a Kensington lock slot, and spill-resistant keyboards with numeric keypads.

For connectivity, there’s Intel Wi-FI 6E, Bluetooth 5.2, and support for 4G LTE.

Additionally, the latest generation of ThinkPad P-series laptops are NVIDIA Studio validated. This means that these devices have been tested by the creative community to ensure that their standards are met.
