Lenovo’s new ThinkPad C13 Yoga Chromebook combines the durability and flexibility in design that the ThinkPad series is known for with the secure and straightforward features of Google’s Chrome Enterprise.
This two-in-one convertible laptop weighs less than 1.5kg and clocks in at just 15mm thin. Inside, it’s powered by up to AMD Ryzen 7 3700C Series mobile processors with ports for two USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-C, two USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-A, and HDMI 2.0. It also features Wi-Fi 6 for fast connectivity and Bluetooth 5.0.
The newest addition to the ThinkPad lineup comes in a special Abyss Blue chassis and features a 360-degree Yoga hinge to allow varying usage. It comes with a 13.3-inch Full HD screen with the option to go for a touch display for added input. If you want to complete the laptop-tablet transformation, a garaged pen is also compatible for quick note-taking or sketching.
To further become more relevant to today’s remote workforce, the laptop features Chrome OS to provide cloud-based applications to deploy files to remote users in a simple yet secure way. Users can then subscribe to Google Workspace plans including Google Meet for video collaborations using individual, encrypted cloud profiles. This way, folks can access their own profiles wherever they go and on whatever supported device. For example, while working on your mobile phone while having coffee, you can choose to transition to your Chromebook and continue on the same note seamlessly.
The company also understands that video collaboration is the new norm so it equipped the ThinkPad C13 with an HD webcam, dual stereo speakers, and dual microphones to ensure video calls and conferences go smoothly. For added security, the webcam has its own privacy shutter while an optional fingerprint reader is also available.
Pricing for the new Lenovo ThinkPad C13 Yoga Chromebook Enterprise starts at $579.
