Another legendary Star Wars starship has gotten the LEGO treatment.
At a panel at Star Wars Celebration today, the LEGO Group has unveiled a large and very detailed construction set based on the legendary Star Wars starship Tantive IV.
Officially called LEGO Star Wars Tantive IV, this 1768-piece set is a mini replica of the titular Rebel cruise that also goes by the name Rebel Lockade Runner. This buildable toy faithfully recreates the starship’s signature details, including an elongated hull, detachable escape pods, elevating gun turrets, cargo hold, and 11 massive engines at the back.
Removing the hull plating of the vehicle will reveal a detailed 2-minifigure cockpit, conference area with table, weapon rack, and a control console with 2 seats. The radar dish even doubles as a convenient carry handle.

To recreate memorable moments from the opening scene of Star Wars: A New Hope, in which Tantive IV made its first appearance, this set also includes minifigures of Bail Organa, Princess Leia, Captain Antilles, C-3PO, and a Rebel Fleet Trooper, plus an R2-D2 droid LEGO figure. The set also comes with 3 blasters, a blaster pistol, and a pair of electrobinoculars.
Measuring 5 inches high, 24 inches long, and 7 inches wide, this set also makes a great centerpiece for any LEGO Star Wars collection.
For the uninitiated, Tantive IV was a CR90 corvette in the service of the House of Organa. The ship was a central player in the events at the beginning of the Galactic Civil War, serving as Princess Leia Organa’s personal starship in the leadup to the Battle of Yavin. It was also the very first vessel viewers saw when Star Wars premiered in 1977.
With a price tag of $199.99, LEGO Star Wars Tantive IV will be available directly from LEGO Stores and shop.LEGO.com starting May 3rd.
