2024 marks the 25th anniversary of the LEGO Star Wars collaboration, and to mark this milestone, the LEGO Group and Lucasfilm have prepared a year-long celebration for the fans. Kicking off the festivities is the upcoming release of five new building sets inspired by the beloved sci-fi franchise set in the galaxy far, far away.

LEGO Star Wars 25th Anniversary collection

The LEGO Star Wars 25th Anniversary collection include a new Starship Collection line featuring brand-new builds inspired by the Millennium Falcon and the Invisible Hand starships; two building sets inspired by the Tantive IV ship; and a special 25th anniversary edition building set honoring R2-D2. Some of these sets include collectible minifigures never seen before in LEGO form or anniversary tiles, marking the special occasion. All sets are scheduled to become available for purchase in March 2024, but are now available for pre-order on LEGO.com.

Another LEGO Star Wars merchandise tied to the 25th anniversary of the LEGO Star Wars collaboration includes an updated edition of DK’s LEGO Star Wars Visual Dictionary. It is set to come out in April 2024 but is now available for pre-order on Amazon.

As part of this year’s LEGO Star Wars anniversary celebration, the LEGO Group will also launch the Star Wars 25-Second Film Festival, inviting fans around the world to submit their own 25-second film that recreates their favorite Star Wars moments or forges a new one with LEGO Star Wars building sets and minifigures they have
