The final life-size model of the LEGO NYC Taxi Cab will be displayed in Union Square Park’s pedestrian plaza in NYC on Friday, July 30th from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. ET. For a chance to win a trip to Legoland New York, fans will need to head out to Union Square and find the LEGO NYC Taxi Cab. Once spotted, fans will have to take a photo of it and share it on social media with the hashtags: #takemetolegolandny #sweepstakes.
Measuring 66″ H x 64″ W x 114″ L, the LEGO NYC Taxi Cab was designed by one individual who spent 117 hours to complete the final design. The model was then built by four people who worked for a total of 370 hours to finish the entire building process. After its brief exhibition in Union Square, the model will be installed at Legoland New York.

The Legoland Hotel, however, is still not open. But it is slated to welcome guests starting August 6th, which concludes the initial park construction period.
