To celebrate Halloween, LEGO Stores in the U.S. and Canada will let kids (and really adults too) build a free Halloween model on October 25, and they’re also running a scavenger hunt through the end of the month.
The free build is a LEGO Ghost Street, and it’s only available for members of LEGO Insiders, which is the company’s free rewards program. Participating LEGO stores will offer it from noon to 2 p.m. on Sunday. Kids have to be at least 6 years old to participate, and each guest can make one.
It’s worth noting that stores have a limited number of kits and will give them out on a first-come, first-served basis. Notably, these spooky models were made for the event and can’t be bought.
Also, not all stores are holding the event that day. The locations at University Place, NorthPark Center, Crocker Park and Garden State have scheduled it for other dates, while the CF Toronto Eaton Centre store will have a grand opening instead.
The scavenger hunt runs from October 24 to October 31. For the scavenger hunt, LEGO has hidden several scary creatures built from bricks inside its stores, and kids who find them can get a treat while supplies last.
People can check which stores are taking part and register for the Ghost Street build on LEGO’s website. Since kits are limited, LEGO fans planning to go on Oct. 25 should really try to arrive early.
