Today HP announces its newest all-in-one PC, the HP Envy AiO and not only is it very powerful, but it packs plenty of tricks up its sleeve. This 32-incher is also the world’s first all-in-one to carry an HDR600 display and NVIDIA GeForce RTX graphics.
The HP Envy AiO boasts of a 31.5-inch Ultra-HD, 4K display with a 92.8% screen-to-body ratio. It also has an edge toe edge glass, anti-reflective screen which is held up by a metal base and dark wood finish. But perhaps the most impressive aspect of its display is that it sports a 6000:1 contrast ratio with a whopping 600 nits of brightness. Colors are further enhanced with on-board calibration by the Delta E >2. It also supports a dual-monitor setup via Thunderbolt 3 and HDMI ports.
The Envy AiO is equipped with Bang & Olufsen speakers which are blanketed by acoustic fabric and leather trims that add to the overall elegant aesthetic of the AiO. HP claims that these speakers are the world’s loudest for an all-in-one PC. Specifically, the speaker system consists of 2 tweeters situated on the left side, 2 passive radiators in the middle which sandwich a woofer for added bass and 2 medium drivers on the right. You’ll also be able to connect to the speakers using a smartphone via Bluetooth even when the PC is off.
Internally, the HP Envy AiO is powered by the 9th Generation 8-core Intel Core i7 processor. It supports up to 32GB DDR4 memory and comes with 1TB PCIe SSD but also offers a dual-storage option. As for graphics, it’s the world’s first all-in-one PC to carry an Nvidia GeForce RTX graphics card and the first all-in-one to join Nvidia’s RTX Studio program.
To further add to its functionality, its base doubles a wireless phone charger. The included keyboard also allows for device switching (up to 3 devices) with dedicated keys. You can easily switch between the HP Envy AiO, smartphone and another device with, quite literally, the press of a button.
