Froot Loop mini donuts are now available at Carl’s Jr and Hardee’s

The chain started offering the new menu item at the end of August

Hardee’s and Carl’s Jr. just launched Froot Loops-inspired mini donuts at participating locations across the U.S.

The five-piece dessert comes in each of the iconic Froot Loops colors (Red, Green, Yellow, Purple, Blue), and according to reviewers, really taste like the breakfast cereal.

Some suggest the chain is attempting to capitalize on the wave of 90s nostalgia that’s recently taken over.

Although Kellogg’s has been making Froot Loops since the 1960s, the brand received a face-lift in the 1990s when additional colors were added. More interesting, each color in the lineup is the exact same flavor – a true fact few are aware of.
