Dunkin’ Donuts and eyewear brand Goodr have teamed up for a pair of sunglasses inspired by the classic strawberry frosted donut.
Released last June 7th, just three days after National Donut Day, the limited-edition You Had Me At Dunkin’ sunnies feature a delectable pink glaze design, complete with rainbow sprinkles.
Best for road, trail, or donut runs, the sunglasses feature a frame made with a special grip coating that helps eliminate slippage when sweating. The frame is also snug and lightweight, offering a comfortable fit that prevents bouncing while running. Lastly, the sunglasses boast glare-reducing, polarized lenses and UV400 protection that blocks 100% of those harmful UVA and UVB rays.
“It’s always been a goal of ours to work with the iconic Dunkin’ brand, so to collaborate on these sunnies has been incredible.” Goodr CEO Stephen Lease said in a statement. “We set out to create a product that showcased the vibrant colors and delicious treats of Dunkin’ while also serving as a fashionable and functional pair of sunglasses perfect for all activities. We couldn’t be more excited for these to launch and look forward to seeing them out in the world just in time for summer!”
Priced at $25 a pair, the You Had Me At Dunkin’ sunnies are available for purchase at goodr.com/dunkin for a limited time only, so be sure to score pair to match your favorite donut while supplies last.
