Dunkin’s limited-time Halloween treats have yet to reappear in the donut and coffeehouse chain’s locations across the United States, but a first-of-its-kind, 6-foot-tall Spider Donut has already debuted earlier today at ShopDunkin.com.
What is Dunkin’s 6-foot-tall Spider Donut?
Launched on October 3rd, Dunkin’s 6-foot-tall Spider Donut is not an edible donut, but an inflatable Halloween décor. Created with Halloween super fans, the larger-than-life Spider Donut reflects the charming donut design of the real-life Halloween treat. Marking Dunkin’s first foray into Halloween décor, the inflatable Spider Donut is perfect for decorating porches, lawns, front stoops, and more.
“Our Spider Donut has increasingly become a symbol of the Halloween spirit here at Dunkin’,” said Kemma Kefalas, Director of Brand Engagement at Dunkin’, in a statement. “Every October, we watch our guests celebrate the spooky season with Spider Donuts in hand. This year, we wanted to create a new and out-of-the-donut-box way for Spider Donut super fans to showcase their love for the season with this inflatable masterpiece.”

When is Dunkin’s Spider Donut returning?
The real, edible Spider Donut is set to return to Dunkin’ restaurants across the U.S. on October 11th. Bringing a charming twist to the creepy-crawlies, the Spider Donut is a yeast donut with orange frosting, topped with a chocolate-glazed MUNCHKINS Donut Hole Treat that mimics a spider. The seasonal delight comes complete with chocolate drizzle for spider legs and white drizzle forming the eyes.
