The Disney animated film Alice in Wonderland turns 70 this year, and to celebrate the milestone, shopDisney is releasing an all-new doll in the likeness of the title character inspired by the works of the legendary stylist Mary Blair.

Called Alice in Wonderland by Mary Blair Limited Edition Doll, the highly detailed collector’s item features the whimsical and exquisite designs of Blair, who is recognized as one of the first Disney female artists and one of the most brilliant conceptual designers to date.

Standing 16.5 inches tall, the poseable doll features a pinafore dress with a velvet bodice decked out with lace details. The dress also includes a peplum with gold floral embroidery and bread & butterfly details; a skirt with Mary Blair Garden of Live Flowers print topped with multicolored gems; and a tulle underskirt. The dress’ other stylish features include a “Peter Pan” collar, sheer puff sleeves, and a mesh neckline.

Completing the doll’s overall look is a pair of high heels with fabric floral details, rooted eyelashes, and a hair bow adorning her finely styled locks.

A limited edition of just 7,900 pieces, the doll includes a display stand and a certificate of authenticity. It also comes in a fanciful window display packaging with satin ribbon.

Now available for preorder at shopDisney for $129.99, the doll is part of the Alice in Wonderland by Mary Blair Collection which is comprised of merchandise items inspired by the works of Blair. A pioneer and leading female artist in her field, Blair was an imaginative color stylist, concept artist, and designer, who began drawing at Walt Disney Studios in 1940.
