Buffalo Wild Wings is welcoming the football season with its very first pizza dish.
For the first time since it was founded in 1982, the sports bar chain has added pizza to its menu, giving customers a new food option to enjoy while watching their favorite sporting events in any of its more than 1,200 locations across the United States.
Pizza arrives at Buffalo Wild Wings
Called Buffalo Wild Wings Boneless Bar Pizza, the chain’s own spin on the ultimate football food features a thin crust smothered in one of the chain’s wing sauces and topped with boneless wings. The Boneless Bar Pizza comes in two varieties:
Buffalo Boneless Bar Pizza
The Buffalo Boneless Bar Pizza is covered with ranch dressing, bleu cheese crumbles, mozzarella cheese, pickled hot peppers, chopped green onion, and boneless wings handspun in Medium buffalo sauce. For a tastier buffalo flavor, the pizza is topped off with a Medium buffalo sauce drizzle.
Honey BBQ Boneless Bar Pizza
Honey BBQ Boneless Bar Pizza features mozzarella and cheddar-jack cheeses, bacon crumbles, pickled hot peppers, chopped green onion, and boneless wings handspun in Honey BBQ sauce. The pizza comes complete with a Medium and Honey BBQ sauce drizzle on top.
“Buffalo Wild Wings is the ultimate football destination for a legendary gameday experience,” said Rita Patel, Chief Marketing Officer at Buffalo Wild Wings, in a news release. “With wings tossed in any of our 26 sauces and seasoning, 30-plus beer taps, wall-to-wall TVs, and now Boneless Bar Pizza, why would fans choose to go anywhere else?”
Though Buffalo Wild Wings sold flatbreads in the past, Patel told CNN Business that pizza is an “exciting new territory” for the chain to enter as it continues “to bring new and innovative ways to enjoy classic game day favorites” at all its restaurants.

Launched on August 17th, both varieties of the limited-time Boneless Bar Pizza cost $9.99 each.
According to CNN Business, the $9.99 price point of Boneless Bar Pizza could attract budget-conscious customers, as well as some better-off patrons who are dining in more frequently at affordable restaurant chains such as Applebee’s.
The news outlet also noted that the addition of Boneless Bar Pizza to the Buffalo Wild Wings menu will help the chain differentiate itself from the growing roster of wing restaurants like Wingstop and Cosmic Wings.
Buffalo Wild Wings is privately owned by the Georgia-based firm Inspire Brands, which also owns Arby’s, Dunkin’, and Jimmy John’s.
