Online retailer Zavvi has launched a limited-edition set of jewelry replicas based on an iconic necklace and bracelet featured in the 2018 Marvel film Black Panther.
Officially called Marvel Black Panther Replica Set, the collector item is comprised of a replica of T’Challa’s necklace and a replica of Kimoyo Beads.
Made with zinc alloy, PU leather, and brass, T’Challa’s Necklace replica is carefully crafted to copy the one worn by Chadwick Boseman in the movie. In the Marvel Cinematic Universe, this necklace was created by Shuri (Letitia Wright) to hold T’Challa’s (Boseman) vibranium suit. While this replica won’t launch T’Challa’s superhero outfit out of thin air when worn, this detailed copy of the jewelry will add an edgy vibe to any outfit and is the perfect final touch to any Black Panther cosplay.
The Kimoyo Beads replica, meanwhile, is modeled after the advanced bracelets used by the people of Wakanda. The replica is made with zinc alloy, resin stone, and rubber elastic cord. In the Ryan Coogler-directed film, the Kimoyo Beads serve as communication devices, hologram projector, and even medical records storage. While this jewelry replica is purely cosmetic, each bead of the bracelet is carved with a different symbol, just like those seen in the movie.
Limited to just 7000 pieces, this officially licensed jewelry replica set is individually numbered and includes a certificate of authenticity. It also comes housed in a special Marvel collectible box designed for ease of display.
