High-end gaming laptops are getting increasingly expensive as component costs keep rising. Fortunately, Woot has slashed $1,550 off the Dell Alienware 18 Area-51 gaming laptop, bringing the price down from $4,000 to just $2,450.
The laptop combines an Intel Core Ultra 9 processor, NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5070 graphics, and a massive 18-inch design for high-performance gaming. It’s an appealing choice for serious gamers, streamers, and content creators who need plenty of processing power, graphics performance, and memory to handle demanding workloads.
Why Choose the Dell Alienware 18 Area-51 Laptop?
The Alienware 18 Area-51 runs on an Intel Core Ultra 9 275HX processor, designed to handle demanding games, heavy multitasking, and intensive creative applications. It combines powerful CPU performance with integrated graphics and a dedicated neural processing unit for AI-related tasks.
Paired with 32GB of RAM, the laptop offers plenty of memory to run modern games while keeping other applications open in the background. And with its 1TB of storage, you get enough space for games, large creative projects, and more.
The laptop also features NVIDIA’s GeForce RTX 5070 Laptop GPU, which delivers advanced ray tracing and AI-powered graphics. That means you can enjoy realistic lighting, detailed environments, and smoother gameplay in compatible titles with features like NVIDIA DLSS.
The dedicated GPU also makes the laptop useful for video editing, 3D modeling, and other creative tasks that benefit from graphics acceleration. And thanks to Alienware’s Cryo-Chamber cooling system, you get increased airflow to keep the system running smoothly.
You also get an 18-inch display, which is especially useful if you prefer a large viewing area for gaming and productivity. Plus, the 300Hz refresh rate and 3ms response time help ensure smooth motion, while the 100% DCI-P3 color coverage delivers excellent visual detail for creative work and entertainment.
Dell backs the laptop with one year of on-site service, so a technician can come to your home, office, or another eligible location if they can’t resolve a covered hardware issue remotely. That’s a useful benefit when you’re investing in an expensive gaming machine.
