Though some of the biggest Black Friday deals are available online, a lot of people still prefer to kick off their Christmas shopping spree in physical stores, which usually open very early and close super late on the day after Thanksgiving.
For this year’s Black Friday sales, big-box retailer Target will open at 7 a.m. and will close at 10 p.m., while its rival business Walmart will be open to shoppers from 5 a.m. to 11 p.m. Meanwhile, consumer electronics store Best Buy will be accepting in-store orders between 5 a.m. and 10 p.m.
Black Friday will also be business as usual for Dick’s Sporting Goods, Kohl’s, and JCPenney, whose locations will be open as early as 5 a.m. Macy’s, Home Depot, and H&M are also joining the Black Friday madness, with their stores opening at 6 a.m.

While more shoppers are expected to show up in stores today compared to last year’s Black Friday, USA Today reported that this year’s in-store holiday shopping will still be different from the past years, pre-pandemic. According to the news outlet, customers should expect fewer deals, more out-of-stock items, and shipping delays due to ongoing supply chain bottlenecks.
