Subway is running a BOGO promotion for free footlongs from October 27 through Nov. 8, but the deal is limited to orders placed online or in the Subway app.
The buy-one-get-one offer covers both regular footlongs and those on the Subway Series menu.
The free sandwich must be equal to or lower in price than the one the customer pays for, and toppings like bacon and avocado are allowed because they’re counted toward the price of each sandwich.
Anyone hoping to grab the free sub will have to log in with a Subway MVP Rewards account first; the fast-food chain is only giving out one per order or customer. Moreover, ordering from a delivery app won’t get you the deal, and catering orders don’t qualify either.
The company shifted its National Sandwich Day celebration up a week to Tuesday, Oct. 27, precisely to launch the BOGO footlong promotion alongside the highly anticipated returns of the Fritos Chicken Enchilada Sub (back for the first time since 2014) and the Caramel Apple Cookie (returning for the first time since 2021), giving customers until Nov. 8 to take advantage of the deal.
This latest move follows a string of recent marketing plays by the sandwich chain, building on its ongoing “Feed Your SUBconscious” campaign featuring actor Will Arnett.
Earlier this month, Subway leaned into the Halloween season with its “Lunchtime Horrors” event, handing out 5,000 digital gift cards to fans willing to share their worst meal disaster stories.
With the brand continuously rolling out fresh stunts, value menus, and high-profile menu revivals to win back diners, this BOGO footlong event gives customers another easy excuse to skip the kitchen.
