We’ve been testing the devices for several days now and both of them offer solid camera experiences that should keep most folks more than happy.
POCO F6 Pro
On the design front, the rounded corners of the F6 Pro’s frame offer a comfortable and smooth grip that is complemented by a velvety-textured and curved glass back that feels silky and delicately sensual to the touch. The textured look is reminiscent of marble and very unique to the market.
There’s no question that the device has a high-performance appearance and feel. We especially appreciate that its matte finish doesn’t pick up fingerprints. Overall, the design is both durable and sophisticated.
Under the hood, the POCO F6 Pro is powered by the new Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset, featuring advanced AI capabilities thanks to the Qualcomm AI Engine. This ensures great performance and connectivity, making it suitable for both hardcore gamers and power users.
Both devices run on Xiaomi HyperOS, which, paired with generous memory and storage options (12GB + 256GB, 12GB + 512GB, and 16GB + 1TB), guarantees smooth multitasking and faster app launches. The upgraded WildBoost Optimisation 3.0 further enhances gameplay with quick loading times and precise touch response.
The device features a 6.67-inch WQHD+ 120Hz AMOLED DotDisplay that balances performance and battery life. With a peak brightness of 4,000 nits, 3840Hz PWM dimming, and TÜV Rheinland eye-care certification, it provides a comfortable viewing experience – even directly under sunlight, effectively reducing eye strain during extended use.
The F6 Pro includes a triple camera setup: a 50MP main camera with OIS, an 8MP ultra-wide camera, and a 2MP macro camera, along with a 16MP selfie camera. Notable camera features include flagship OIS, a high dynamic range Light Fusion 800 image sensor for improved stability and detail, a Burst shot feature capturing 50 shots in a single burst at 30 frames per second, and an Ultra Night Algorithm for clear and bright images in low light conditions.
We’ve been testing the F6 Pro for a few days now and are very impressed with the photos the device can take. Although it’s not going to come close to a flagship phone that costs double, it’s camera performance is leagues above what you’ll typically find in its price range.

Lastly, the F6 Pro is equipped with a 5000mAh battery supporting 120W HyperCharge technology, allowing a full recharge in just 19 minutes with the included charger. Additionally, the device utilizes LiquidCool Technology 4.0 to maintain optimal temperatures during intensive use, ensuring consistent performance without overheating.

At the heart of the POCO F6 lies the powerful Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 processor. Built using the advanced TSMC 4nm manufacturing process, this chipset ensures that the device operates at peak efficiency, balancing speed with energy efficiency.
Similar to the F6 Pro, the POCO F6 supports WildBoost Optimization 3.0, ensuring smoother gameplay, instant touch accuracy, and faster screen response times. With enhanced AI capabilities, POCO assures that games on the POCO F6 will look more detailed and realistic.
The POCO F6 is available in two memory and storage options: 8GB of RAM with 256GB of storage or 12GB of RAM with 512GB of storage, catering to different user needs.
POCO is introducing Xiaomi’s CrystalRes display technology to the POCO F6 for the first time. This technology combines high-resolution display capabilities with low power consumption, offering a more efficient display without sacrificing screen clarity. The 6.67-inch Flow AMOLED DotDisplay on the POCO F6 is expected to deliver excellent visuals.
The display also supports a 120Hz refresh rate for smoother visuals and reduced motion blur, and it has a peak brightness of up to 2400 nits, ensuring good visibility even in direct sunlight. Additionally, TÜV Rheinland’s low blue light, circadian-friendly, and flicker-free certifications help ensure comfortable viewing during extended use, which is beneficial for long gaming sessions or binge-watching your favorite series.
The POCO F6 has a camera setup with a 50MP main camera with Optical Image Stabilization (OIS), and an 8MP ultra-wide camera. It also includes a 20MP front camera.
Other notable camera features include the new Sony IMX882 sensor, support for both Optical Image Stabilization (OIS) and Electronic Image Stabilization (EIS), an upgraded motion tracking feature that keeps fast-moving subjects in focus, and AI-assisted photo editing.
The POCO F6 also includes LiquidCool Technology 4.0 and a 5000mAh battery. Unlike the F6 Pro, it comes with a 90W turbo-charging system, which is still sufficient for quick recharging.
Notably both F6 devices lack wireless charging, but their large battery and fast charging help compensate for that ommission.
