I’ve been waiting for a foldable that doesn’t feel like carrying a literal brick in my pocket. Oppo just dropped a bombshell fold that makes the competition look almost ancient. I’ve spent a few days with the new Oppo Find N6, and I’m calling it right now—this is the absolute best fold to date.
Thin is in

Weighing in at just 225g, the first thing you notice when you pick the Find N6 up is its weight—or lack thereof. It is so incredibly thin and light that it almost seems to defy logic for a device with this much screen real estate. When closed, it’s no thicker than your typical candy bar flagship (just 8.93mm folded). In fact, the Find N6 is practically just as thin as the super thin Galaxy Z Fold 7, yet it sports a slightly larger display.
Oppo also includes a beautiful thin carbon fiber case in the box. Usually, I toss the free cases out immediately, but this one barely adds any bulk and looks great.
Look Ma, no crease!
We’ve been promised “creaseless” displays for years, but Oppo has actually delivered. Oppo is calling it a “Zero-Feel Crease,” using a new titanium alloy dome hinge and a self-healing memory glass layer. Whether you’re looking at it straight on or from an angle, you really can’t see the crease.
The display itself is brilliant—it’s a massive 8.12-inch 2K LTPO inner panel with up to 2,500 nits peak brightness. It’s vibrant, deep, and thankfully, not too glossy, so you aren’t ever staring at your own reflection.
Design-wise, I love the curved edges of the Find N6 compared to the boxy, industrial feel of the Galaxy Fold 7. It feels organic in the hand, more like a piece of polished, refined glass than an clunky handheld device.
The AI Pen Kit: Smart design

The optional Oppo AI Pen kit is very cool, and it’s easily the most well-designed way to carry a stylus I’ve seen. Unlike competitors that leave you with a loose pen or a bulky “hump” on the back of the case, Oppo integrated a dedicated charging system directly into the companion case.
This means the pen is always topped up and ready to go. It’s a true AI-powered tool—supporting handwriting recognition and smart shortcuts that actually turn this into a mobile workstation rather than just a tablet with a toothpick.
Built to last (In style)
If you’re worried about durability, Oppo has gone all out. The Find N6 is built with aerospace-grade materials and carries a rare triple-threat of IP56, IP58, and IP59 ratings. That means it can handle everything from high-pressure water jets to being submerged.
And the colors? They’re great. It comes in a choice of classic Deep Black, a sophisticated Original Titanium with a gold-accented hinge, and my personal favorite, Golden Orange, which looks like it has a gorgeous pastel vibe that helps make it stand out in a sea of gray folds.
Flagship power and cameras
Under the hood, the Oppo Find N6 is a beast with the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 and a massive 6,000mAh battery that supports 80W wired charging.
And let’s talk about the cameras. Usually, foldables sacrifice lens quality to keep the profile thin, but not here. The Hasselblad-tuned “Cosmos Ring”—led by a massive 200MP main sensor and a 50MP periscope lens—is truly flagship level. The portraits I snapped so far have that signature Hasselblad “pop” and depth you usually only find on pro-grade flagships.
The Showdown: Oppo Find N6 vs. Galaxy Z Fold 7
When you stack the Oppo Find N6 against the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7, the Oppo wins. While Samsung finally slimmed down the Fold 7 to be just 8.9mm, Oppo matched that thickness while managing to cram in a much larger 6,000mAh battery—effectively dwarfing Samsung’s 4,400mAh cell. Samsung’s 200MP camera is impressive, but Oppo’s Hasselblad integration and superior periscope zoom give it the edge for photos.
Perhaps the biggest “win” for Oppo, though, is the Find N6’s screen. Even with Samsung’s improvements, the Fold 7 still has a visible crease in the center, whereas the Find N6’s Zero-Feel Crease makes the display look like one continuous, flat sheet of glass.
First impressions
We loved the Oppo Find N5, so much so that we didn’t think there was all that much room for improvement. But Oppo has knocked it out of the park again with the Find N6.
The Oppo Find N6 feels like the “grown-up” version of the fold formfactor that we’ve been waiting for. It’s super sleek, it’s powerful, and it finally solves the hardware complaints we’ve had since the category launched. If you’ve been on the fence on getting a fold because of the bulk, your excuse just evaporated. This is the fold that doesn’t make any compromises.
We’ll have a in-depth review of the Oppo Find N6 live soon.
