The complete list of content arriving on Netflix in June has been unveiled, and it includes a number of fan-favorite original series that are coming back for brand new installments.
First on the list is the second and final season of Feel Good, which is set to premiere on the streamer on June 4th. In the new season, Mae (Mae Martin) tries to reconnect with George (Charlotte Ritchie) — and herself — after her relapse, realizing in the process that she’ll have to face her past in order to move forward.
Also returning to Netflix next month is the French mystery thriller Lupin. Debuting on June 11th, Part 2 of the Omar Sy-led show will be available to stream starting June 11th. In the new batch of episodes, Assane (Sy) scrambles to find Raoul (Etan Simon) and wins an unlikely new ally as he draws up a grand plan to reveal Hubert’s (Hervé Pierre) crimes.
Season 2 of zombie drama Black Summer is also premiering on Netflix in June. Dropping on June 17th, the show’s eight-episode sophomore run will see frantic scavengers and violent militias battling the dead and the desperate as winter poses cold-blooded new challenges during the apocalypse.
Lastly, Spanish thriller teen drama Elite is returning for its fourth season on June 18th. In the show’s upcoming set of eight episodes, a strict principal and four new students arrive at Las Encinas, bringing an onslaught of romantic entanglements, intense rumors, and a fresh mystery to the elite secondary school.
In addition to returning fan-favorite shows, a bunch of new Netflix original series are also coming to the streaming service this June.
Sweet Tooth, a fantasy drama series based on the comic book of the same name by Jeff Lemire, will premiere on June 4th. Set in a post-apocalyptic world, the Robert Downey Jr.-produced series follows a lovable half-human and half-deer boy who embarks on a perilous adventure to search for a new beginning with a gruff protector.
Two exciting animated series are also launching on Netflix in June: Trese (June 11th) and Godzilla Singular Point (June 24th).
Set in Manila where mythical creatures of Philippine folklore hide amongst humans, Trese follows Alexandra Trese (Shay Mitchell and Liza Soberano) as she goes head-to-head with a criminal underworld.
Godzilla Singular Point, meanwhile, centers on a grad student (Yume Miyamoto) and an engineer (Shōya Ishige), who are brought together by a mysterious song and eventually lead the fight against an unimaginable force that may spell doom for the world.
Completing Netflix’s June releases is a slew of new Netflix original films, which includes the two-part anime movie Pretty Guardian Sailor Moon Eternal premiering on June 3rd. In the Chiaki Kon-directed flick, the scattered Sailor Guardians must reunite to bring light back into the world after a dark power enshrouds the Earth following a total solar eclipse.
Also debuting on the streamer next month is the sci-fi action movie Awake. Dropping on June 9th, the Mark Raso-directed film stars Gina Rodriguez as a troubled ex-soldier who fights to save her family as society and her mind spiral into chaos after a global event wipes out humanity’s ability to sleep.
A Kevin Hart-fronted movie is also coming to Netflix in June. Arriving on the streamer on June 18th, Fatherhood stars Hart as Matthew Logelin, a recently widowed father who struggles to raise his daughter after the unexpected death of his wife. Directed by Paul Weitz, Fatherhood is based upon Logelin’s 2011 memoir Two Kisses for Maddy: A Memoir of Loss and Love.
