The latest addition to the Motorola Edge lineup has just been unveiled.
The 2023 Motorola Edge boasts rounded edges for a comfortable grip, a sandblasted aluminum frame for enhanced grip and durability, IP68 underwater protection, and runs on the latest Android 13 operating system.
Powering the new Motorola Edge is the recently-released MediaTek Dimensity 7030 chipset and it’s equipped with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. This mid-range chip serves as the core of the device’s performance capabilities, including 5G and Wi-Fi 6E connectivity, as well as the device’s display and camera features.
The Motorola Edge’s rear camera setup comprises a 50MP main camera and a 13MP ultrawide camera. The rear camera setup is equipped with Optical Image Stabilization and an Ambient Light Sensor, for improved image stability and enhanced camera performance, particularly in low-light conditions.
For selfies, the device boasts a 32MP front-facing camera with Auto Focus. Other noteworthy camera features include Audio Zoom, which intelligently filters out ambient noise when zooming in on a subject, as well as the ability to shoot 4K 30fps UHD video on both the main and selfie cameras.
The device features a 6.6-inch pOLED display with FHD+ (2400 x 1080) resolution with HDR10+ cinematic image standard, a refresh rate of up to 144Hz, and there’s also Dolby Atmos/Motorola Spatial Sound support.
According to Motorola’s data, the 4400mAh battery in the Motorola Edge will deliver over 30 hours of power. When users need to recharge, they have the choice of 68W TurboPower charging or 15W wireless charging.
