Frozen snack brand Farm Rich has partnered with Disney for new mozzarella bites that Mickey Mouse fans will enjoy.
Officially called Mickey Mouse & Friends Mozzarella Shapes, these crispy bite-sized snacks are shaped like the iconic silhouettes of Mickey Mouse’s head and Minnie Mouse’s bow, and are filled with ooey-gooey mozzarella cheese.
These mozzarella bites also qualify for the “Mickey Check,” which means that they meet Disney’s Nutrition Guidelines. Foods that get the Mickey Check typically contain less sodium, sugar, and saturated fats, and offer more nutrients like whole grains and lean protein. Each serving of the Mozzarella Shapes has 13 grams of protein and includes 100 percent real mozzarella cheese and a whole grain-rich coating.
“Whether you’re a kid or an adult, Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse have likely been a part of your life. We’re so delighted to introduce this new yet nostalgic snack, and to expand our relationship with Disney, one of the world’s most adored and respected brands,” said Ciera Womack, senior marketing manager at Farm Rich, in a statement.
First revealed in a tweet back in May, Mickey Mouse & Friends Mozzarella Shapes are now available for $6.99 for a 12-pack at major grocery chains across the country, including Publix, Kroger, Meijer, Albertsons/Safeway, Giant Eagle, C&S, Wegmans, Weis, and more. They can also be purchased online through Amazon Fresh.
Mickey Mouse & Friends Mozzarella Shapes isn’t the first collaboration between Farm Rich and Disney. Last summer, during the theatrical release of Disney/Pixar’s Toy Story 4, Farm Rich dropped the Toy Story 4 Mozzarella Shapes featuring mozzarella bites shaped like Woody’s hat, a bunny, and aliens.
