McDonald’s is offering a first-of-its-kind summer experience for fans.
Called Camp McDonald’s, this month-long experience is not your traditional camping adventure. Instead, it is a virtual event that features the hottest lineup of food deals from the restaurant chain, limited-edition merch from partner brands, and music performances from amazing artists.
How to join Camp McDonald’s
Everyone is invited to the camp and there’s no ticket required. Simply check the McDonald’s App for details on how to unlock the fun every day. The 27-day virtual camp kicked off last Tuesday and will run through July 31st.
What to enjoy at Camp McDonald’s
Throughout the four-week virtual camp, fans can get their favorite menu items for free or at a discounted price for a $1 minimum purchase via the chain’s app. Some of these treats include the chain’s Big Mac, Chicken McNuggets, and World Famous Fries.
And with the weather heating up, the chain is also dishing out deals on two menu hacks with peak summertime vibes – an Apple Pie McFlurry and a McFlurry Sandwich, which fans can build themselves.
Camp attendees can also enjoy limited-edition merch collabs, dropping for purchase every Thursday, starting with Free & Easy, followed by Ma®ket, Innisfree, and Kid Cudi merchandise. On the camp’s opening day, Grimace welcomed fans with a Retro Grimace Pool Float.
Each week at the camp will be capped with an exclusive in-app virtual concert every Sunday. Performers include BIBI, Omar Apollo, blackbear, and the event’s headliner, Kid Cudi.
