LEGO Friends' Central Perk cafe

Friends is turning 25 years old next month, and to celebrate this milestone, LEGO is releasing a mini replica of the NBC sitcom’s Central Perk café.

Based on the fictional New York City coffeehouse where the TV show’s main characters spent much of their free time conversing, this 1070-piece LEGO playset is packed with authentic details, making it a must-have memorabilia for every Friends fan.

This toy construction features the gang’s iconic main seating area, which includes a sofa, an armchair, a table, and 2 chairs. This seating area is removable for easy play.

The café’s service area, meanwhile, is furnished with a brick-built coffee machine, service counter, cash register, cookie jars, and a menu board, among many others.

The coffeehouse’s interior also houses a stage comprised of a sofa, extra seats, 2 brick-built TV studio light rigs with translucent light-style elements, and more assorted elements. This mini replica of the establishment also features a window with a Central Perk logo decoration.

Based on a concept from the fan-fueled LEGO Ideas crowdsourcing platform, this playset also includes 7 minifigures: Ross, Rachel, Chandler, Monica, Joey, Phoebe and Central Perk’s long-suffering manager Gunther. To role-play famous hilarious scenes from the Emmy-winning show, each minifigure comes with accessory: Ross’ brick-built keyboard, Rachel’s tray and coffee cup, Monica’s muffin, Joey’s pizza box, pizza slice and “man bag”, Chandler’s laptop, Phoebe’s guitar, and Gunther’s broom.

Measuring 4 inches high, 11 inches wide, and 8 inches deep, this cool building set makes an eye-catching centerpiece in any room.

Priced at $59.99, this nostalgic Friends-themed toy collectible will be available directly from LEGO Stores & shop.LEGO.com starting September 1st.
