Infinix has just debuted its first-ever concept phone. Simply called the Infinix Concept Phone 2021, this device introduces a brand-new dual color-changing technology built alongside super-fast 160W charging.

This dual color-changing technology is an industry first and is showcased on the phone’s back. Utilizing electrochromic and electroluminescent technology, the Infinix Concept Phone 2021 can shift its silver-gray color to light blue. Similarly, while charging, the phone will change color and flash.

This was achieved by using ultra-thin, energy-saving, and transparent solid electrochromic film combined with an electroluminescence film. Infinix says this technology “opens the door for future developments with color-changing smartphones.”

While the dual color-changing back improves the phone’s aesthetics, the Infinix Concept Phone 2021 also offers blazing fast wired charging at 160W and wireless charging at 50W.

With Innovative Super Charge Pump, the phone can support high power conversion to reach 98.6% charging conversion efficiency. At the same time, this technology is able to avoid overloading and overheating due to the large currents.

The Infinix Concept Phone 2021 is able to retain temperatures under 40-degrees Celcius thanks to its multiple temperature sensors and control algorithms. In collaborating with the world’s leading manufacturers, Infinix was able to develop a new 8C battery cell that increased internal resistance compared to a 6C battery.

There’s added security protection as well during extreme scenarios such as high temperatures, increased voltage, electromagnetic interference, and more.

Finally, the Infinix Concept Phone 2021’s 6.67-inch AM-OLED display has a “perfect surface” thanks to the addition of an 88-degree limit radian. Imaging is powered by an AI-powered triple-lens setup headlined by a 64-megapixel main camera. It’s supported by an ultra-wide-angle lens and a telephoto lens capable of up to 60x zoom. The front-facing camera takes the form of a 32-megapixel shooter.

Other specifications include a 64-bit octa-core processor, ARM Mali-G76 MP4, 128GB internal storage, and 8GB of RAM.
