The inauguration of Joe Biden and Kamala Harris as the next president and vice-president of the U.S. is set to take place on Wednesday at the Capitol. And even though the live audience for the ceremony will only be limited to members of the congress and their respective plus-ones, several fans are still planning to dress like Biden and Harris on the historic day to show their support for the duo.

Biden’s wardrobe is traditional yet cool. Throughout his presidential campaign, the U.S. president-elect was mostly seen wearing navy blue suits, whose fit were so impeccable he could jog out to the podium during his public appearances. But his signature outfit won’t be complete without a pair of Ray-Ban Aviator sunglasses.

According to Biden, he has been wearing Ray-Ban Aviator sunglasses for most of his life. “My lord, I’ve been wearing aviators since I was a freshman in college as a lifeguard,” he told the Skimm in 2016. In his 2008 memoir Promises to Keep: On Life and Politics, Biden said his work experience as a lifeguard at a Wilmington pool in 1962, which mainly served Black patrons, taught him about the realities of racism.

Harris’ sartorial style, meanwhile, is subtly smart and comfortable. For the most part of her political career, Harris has always worn suits, but she has eventually replaced the skirts with trousers. Her dark-colored blazers and jackets (black, gray, and navy) cinch in at the high waist, leaving her with more room throughout her top half and allowing her to move more comfortably. Her signature working wardrobe also includes pearl earrings and necklaces, which she has started wearing since she was a law student.

While Harris confessed in a 2011 interview with HarpersBAZAAR.com that she has a penchant for Manolo Blahnik heels and Chanel handbags, her attire has often leaned to the casual. In fact, during the election campaign, she had worn white shirts and skinny jeans, which she paired with Converse Chuck Taylor All-Star sneakers. Some of her Chucks even came with badges that display her support for causes such as Black Lives Matter and encouraging people to vote.

Of course, Joe Biden and Kamala Harris’ fashion styles won’t match everyone’s preference. So if you think that neither of the pair’s sartorial styles would look good on you, don’t mind copying their signature looks, as you can still show your support for the new administration in many other ways. For instance, since we’re still very much in a pandemic, there’s nothing more practical than wearing one of the following face masks to cheer for the new president and vice-president of the U.S.:
