HONOR has just announced a slew of new products, including the HONOR MagicBook Pro laptop, HONOR ViewPad 6 tablet, HONOR Router 3, and HONOR Vision X1 Series smart TVs. The company is also launching a number of smart HONOR Choice products that will complement the company’s current smart life ecosystem.
HONOR MagicBook Pro laptop
HONOR’s MagicBook series has been highly regarded for its full-featured but affordable devices. The new HONOR MagicBook Pro laptop keeps that thought in mind with its 16.1-inch screen with a display that boasts of a 90% screen-to-body ratio. Internally, it’s powered by a 10th Generation Intel Core i7 processor that works alongside a GeForce MX350 graphics card. It’s able to support up to 16GB of RAM and up to 512GB of SSD storage.
HONOR is launching the HONOR Academy Program alongside the new MagicBook Pro. This feature, which is specific for the overseas market, will offer learning and development opportunities by providing a 1-year subscription to Microsoft 365 Personal as well as other services.
The HONOR MagicBook Pro will be offered in Russia starting at RMB 5,999 starting September 2020.
HONOR ViewPad 6
For a more portable solution, HONOR is introducing the HONOR ViewPad 6 that houses a Kirin 985 5G SoC and support for WI-FI 6+ for speedy performance. It’s also equipped with a 2K FullView Display, smart split-screen option, an HD stereo system, and is also compatible with the HONOR Magic Pencil. It will be available in China starting June 13th and will follow to overseas markets later on in the month.
HONOR Router 3
The HONOR Router 3 will be the first HONOR router to utilize a Wi-Fi 6+ chipset and a Gigahome Dual-core 1.2GHz CPU. With these, the Router 3 ensures speeds of up to 3,000 Mbps through both 2.5Ghz and 5Ghz bands. It will be priced at RMB 219 and will available in overseas markets starting July of this year.
HONOR’s Vision X1 Series Smart TV
HONOR’s Vision X1 Series is compromised of 65-inch and 55-inch variations. Both smart TVs boast of 8K decoding and four 10W speakers. Both models are also equipped with a smart assistant which can be controlled via smartphones or a variety of other smart devices. The 65-inch variation will retail for RMB 3,299 while the 55-inch will retail for RMB 2,299.
Honor Choice
HONOR is introducing some new devices to complement its existing smart eco-system, HONOR Choice.
HONOR Choice offers what looks like an upgraded version of its Magic Earbuds with the Earbuds X1. Priced at just RMB 169, the TWS Earbuds X1 promises high-quality, lag-free audio output alongside a 24-hour battery life.
For those looking to upgrade their smart home, HONOR is introducing the Smart Vacuum Cleaner, Air Multiplier, Humidifier, Smart Desk Lamp, Smart Ultra-Sonic Toothbrush, and Smart Kettle.
HONOR’s Smart Vacuum cleaner is a wireless device that houses a powerful 350W 100,000rpm motor that’s can operate at up to 65 minutes on a full charge. It also has ultraviolet-sterilization, as well as a calorie consumption counter to track your workout performance as you use the device. Data from the Smart Vacuum can easily be transferred to HUAWEI HiLink for easier access and monitoring.
The Air Multiplier is equipped with bladeless turbocharging technology designed for maximum coverage and to keep air consistently flowing so that the user’s room can stay at the desired temperature. The Humidifier, on the other hand, keeps the air in the room moist to alleviate respiratory symptoms. It has a 3-liter tank with a clear top cover so users can keep track of water levels as well as an anti-bacterial design to reduce bacteria growth.
The three-dimension lighting technology allows HONOR’s Smart Desk Lamp to produce a soft and even light that can cover up to 1.12m diameter area. To preserve eye health, it has TÜV Eye Comfort Certification and emits far less blue light for a calm work environment.
Lastly, the Smart Ultra-Sonic Toothbrush and Smart Kettle round off the products for HONOR Choice. Smart brushing guides are available in the HiLink app and its battery life can last a full 30 days on a single charge.
Aiming to replace your run-of-the-mill kettle, HONOR’s Smart Kettle is a quick-boiling device that can be controlled via smartphone and the HiLink app. There’s also additional temperature control and dechlorination for more in-depth control.
All products in the HONOR Choice line will be available in overseas market sometime in June.
