Get 6 months of Spotify Premium free with an Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscription

The Xbox Games Pass PC subscription is also eligible for this promo

Purchasing an Xbox Games Pass ultimate subscription will now get you 6 months of Spotify Premium for free. With Microsoft having acquired Spotify last year, the cross-promotion makes sense.

Xbox Games Pass Ultimate costs $1 a month for the first two months. after which the rate will rise to $15 a month. The subscription will get you over 100 games playable on either an Xbox or PC. You’ll also have access to all the offers of the $10-a-month lower-tier membership, Xbox Live Gold, which includes the ability to join online play.

Once you’ve purchased your subscription, a code will be sent to you to activate the free Spotify Premium. A valid and current payment method, such as a credit card, is still required to take advantage of the promo. And make sure you take note of when your free trial ends because if you don’t cancel after 6 months, Spotify will automatically charge you the current rate of $10 a month for the premium service.

But as with any promotion, there are limitations. The free Spotify premium will only be eligible for first-time users. Meaning, if you’ve ever paid for a Spotify subscription in the past or even availed of a different promo offering free premium, you cannot claim the free 6-months.

The offer is only available for a limited time, so if you’re an eligible Xbox and PC user, signing up now would be a good idea to get your money’s worth and get a couple of months of free Spotify Premium.
