Cookie brand Famous Amos marks last Wednesday’s National Chocolate Cookie Day with a brand-new line of cookies featuring internationally-inspired flavors.
Aptly called Famous Amos Wonders from the World, this new selection of chocolatey treats features crunchy, bite-size cookies made with high-quality premium ingredients from different parts of the world. The Famous Amos Wonders from the World line is currently comprised of the following three flavors:
- Belgian Chocolate Chip – classic chocolate chip cookie made special with authentic Belgian chocolate
- Philippine Coconut and White Chocolate Chip – white chocolate chip cookie with coconut from the Philippines
- Mediterranean Hazelnut and Chocolate Chip – chocolate chip cookie with hazelnuts from the Mediterranean
“We heard from our fans that quality ingredients are most important to them, so we’re relaunching Famous Amos cookies with this in mind,” said Rachna Patel, Senior Director, Distinctive Brands at Ferrara, in a statement. “We selected the best ingredients from around the world for our three new globally inspired flavors and we can’t wait for everyone to try them.”
The cookie flavors from the Famous Amos Wonders from the World lineup come packed in a location-inspired, resealable stand-up packaging to lock in freshness. All three flavors are available in a 7oz pantry bag for a suggested retail price of $4.49 each.
Famous Amos is a brand of cookies founded in Los Angeles in 1975 by Wally Amos, a former talent agent with William Morris Agency. Previously owned by Kellogg Company, Famous Amos is now owned by Ferrero SpA, who bought the brand in 2019.
