Cracker Barrel is bringing the flavors of summer back to the table with the long-awaited return of its Campfire Meals. After a seven-year hiatus, the popular limited-time menu is finally making a comeback, this time with new additions that build on the nostalgic appeal of the original lineup.

The Campfire Meals are designed to channel the experience of outdoor cooking without needing to light a single flame. Each dish is served either in a cast iron skillet or foil wrap, enhancing the smoky, rustic flavors that made the offerings a hit in the first place.

Returning items include the Campfire Chicken, a marinated half-chicken slow-cooked in butter broth with veggies and the brand’s signature seasoning, and the Campfire Beef, which features tender braised beef cooked in foil with hearty vegetables.

Joining the lineup are three new dishes. The Campfire Shrimp Skillet pairs grilled shrimp and andouille sausage with corn and potatoes in a savory broth. For dessert, there’s the S’mores Brownie Skillet—a gooey brownie topped with roasted marshmallow, Hershey’s chocolate, crumbled graham crackers, and a scoop of vanilla ice cream. The Cinnamon Roll Skillet rounds out the menu with mini rolls filled with cinnamon and finished with cream cheese icing.

Each savory Campfire Meal comes with classic buttermilk biscuits and cornbread muffins. The starting price for the lineup is $10.99, offering a value-driven option for guests craving a summer-themed meal without the effort of a backyard fire.

Cracker Barrel describes the meals as an invitation to relive the simple pleasures of summer evenings—no tent or fire pit required. Early reviews on social media have been enthusiastic, with some fans calling the return “fantastic” and others sharing memories of how quickly the meals used to sell out. One diner commented that the meat “just falls off the bones and is cooked to perfection,” while another admitted to checking every summer for the past six years in hopes of a comeback.

The Campfire Meals are now available for a limited time at participating locations across the country. For those who’ve been missing them (or are just discovering them for the first time), this is the summer to dig in.
