Coach’s CitySole sneaker campaign stars Michael B. Jordan and Jennifer Lopez

CitySole is the most comfortable, flexible, and lightweight sneaker of the New York-based company to date

Coach has recently launched its CitySole sneaker collection with star power help from Michael B. Jordan and Jennifer Lopez.

Jordan and Lopez are the faces of the ad campaign for the CitySole shoes, which, according to the New York-based fashion company, is their most comfortable, flexible, and lightweight sneakers to date.

“I have always been inspired by the people and unique energy of our hometown, New York,” said Coach creative director Stuart Vevers in a statement. “Like everything we design, CitySole was created with this in mind. It’s a collection for people who live always-on, spontaneous and adventurous lives.”

In the ads, Jordan is wearing a pair of CitySole Court sneakers in blue mist gray, while Lopez is sporting a similar style but in chalk-black camel. In addition to CitySole Court, the shoe lineup also includes two other styles: the CitySole Runner and the CitySole Lowline.

“Sneakers are a wardrobe staple for me,” Jordan said. “As someone who grew up around New York and is constantly on the go, Coach CitySole’s blend of fashion and comfort is the right balance for an everyday sneaker wearer like me.”

Lopez added: “When you grow up in New York, sneakers are such a big part of your lifestyle because you have to pound the pavement. Coach CitySole is perfect for my lifestyle. I’m a dancer and I’m always on the go, and they’re very versatile. They can be dressed up and dressed down, and can be functional but also super fashionable.”

Revealed as the first face of Coach’s global menswear collection in September 2018, Jordan has been working with the company for more than a year now. Lopez, meanwhile, joined the Coach family last November.
