Ben & Jerry’s fan-favorite Topped line has unveiled two new flavors that tap into childhood nostalgia.
The first one is Topped Chocolate Milk & Cookies, a chocolate ice cream with chocolate chip cookies and chocolate cookie swirls, topped with milk chocolatey ganache and fudge chips.

The other flavor is Topped Dirt Cake, a vanilla pudding ice cream with chocolate sandwich cookies and chocolate cookie swirls, topped with milk chocolatey ganache and chocolate cookie crumble.

The two new flavors join the seven original varieties of Ben & Jerry’s Topped line, which are Chocolate Caramel Cookie Dough, PB Over the Top, Salted Caramel Brownie, Strawberry Topped Tart, Thick Mint, Tiramisu, and Whiskey Biz. Launched a year ago, four of the seven original Topped flavors quickly made their way onto the ice cream maker’s Top 20 fan favorites list.

All Ben & Jerry’s Topped flavors feature a fudgy ganache layer across the top of every pint of ice cream. But unlike the seven original flavors that have either a dark or white chocolatey ganache, the two new flavors come with milk chocolatey ganache. In addition to having this new ganache variant, both new flavors also feature a chocolate cookie swirl dubbed as “fairy dust.”
“The 2021 Topped lineup was one of our most successful innovation launches ever. So, we can’t wait for fans to literally DIG into these new flavors. If you’re looking for a treat loaded with nostalgia that brings you back – these two new Topped flavors deliver,” said Ben & Jerry’s Flavor Guru, Colleen Rossell, who was responsible for tasting, testing, and topping off the two new Topped flavors.
Ben & Jerry’s Topped Chocolate Milk & Cookies and Topped Dirt Cake are hitting shelves across the U.S. in the first quarter of the year at a suggested retail price of $4.99-$5.49. Dirt Cake will also be available as a flavor and as a one-of-a-kind special sundae in Scoop Shops across the country in the coming weeks.
