Titan Comics has announced a new graphic novel based on the video game franchise Assassin’s Creed.
Titled Assassin’s Creed: The Fall & The Chain, the upcoming graphic novel takes the franchise to Russia and introduces a new assassin named Daniel Cross.
Helmed by Cameron Stewart (Fight Club) and Karl Kerschl (Robotech, Isola), The Fall & The Chain follows the story of Daniel who mysteriously experiences the past life of Russian assassin Nicolai Orelov and his son Innokenti through hallucinations.
According to Titan Comics’ description, the graphic novel “tells of Daniel’s rise and fall through the ranks of the Assassin Brotherhood, and his subsequent rise through the ranks of the insidious Templars.”

Set to be released this coming October, The Fall & The Chain will be both available in digital and hard copies. Fans can also order the graphic novel through the April edition of Previews.
The Fall & The Chain isn’t the first Assassin’s Creed graphic novel that Titan Comics has published. Back in February 2017, Titan Comics published the first issue of Assassin’s Creed: Uprising, which wraps up the Phoenix Project saga introduced in Assassin’s Creed: Unity.
In March 2018, Titan Comics launched Assassin’s Creed: Origins, a four-part comic book miniseries that expands the world of the Ubisoft game of the same name. And most recently, in August 2018, Titan Comics dropped the first issue of the English version of Assassin’s Creed: Conspiracies, a two-part standalone series set in World War II.
On the game front, Ubisoft just released the Fate of Atlantis expansion for Assassin’s Creed Odyssey earlier this month, which focuses on the titular mythological civilization and its larger connection to the Greek underworld.
