Developed in collaboration with The Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York, the set recreates Claude Monet’s iconic 1899 oil painting inspired by the water garden at his home in Giverny. With more than 3,100 pieces, the build transforms Monet’s serene landscape into a textured wall display that blends creativity, art history, and home décor.

The Claude Monet – Bridge over a Pond of Water Lilies (31220) set reimagines the celebrated painting using LEGO elements. Its design captures the gentle bridge, surrounding trees, and floating water lilies that define the impressionist masterpiece.
Instead of traditional brushstrokes, this set uses carefully selected pieces to mimic the layered textures and vibrant color palette of Monet’s work. You may even notice some unexpected elements hidden within the design, including bricks shaped like butterflies, cherries, bananas, swords, and shields. All of these were creatively repurposed to form parts of the landscape.
