Street racing fans and LEGO collectors have a new build to add to their garages. LEGO has officially launched the new Technic Fast and Furious Mitsubishi Eclipse Car, bringing one of the franchise’s most recognizable rides into brick-built form.

Inspired by the bright green Mitsubishi Eclipse driven by Brian O’Conner in the 2001 film The Fast and the Furious, the new $65 set is designed for builders ages 14 and older. With 827 pieces and several movie-inspired details, the build aims to capture the spirit of the street-racing icon while giving fans a hands-on project.

Packed With Technic Features and Movie Details

Like other LEGO Technic sets, the Mitsubishi Eclipse focuses on realistic mechanics and movement.

You can steer the car using a knob positioned on top, allowing you to recreate street-racing scenes inspired by the film. The hood opens to reveal an engine with moving pistons, giving the set a more authentic mechanical feel.

The attention to detail continues inside the vehicle. Doors open to reveal the interior, while the trunk lifts to show off the included NOS bottles. Those added functions help turn the set into more than a collector’s display piece, giving you extra ways to interact with the finished model.
